This week is the International Customer Service Appreciation Week! During this week, we celebrate the importance of customer service and the people who serve and support our customers on a daily basis.

Over the next two weeks, we will be highlighting each of our Customer Service Representatives with an Employee Spotlight! This will allow you to learn a little bit more about these awesome individuals who help make our Customer Service Department so great.

Today, we are featuring William Cooley!

Name: William Cooley

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

How long have you been with Regency360? 6 months

What is a normal workday like for you? Honestly, I don’t think normal days exist in customer service. Every day is different and there’s always a new challenge waiting for you. Sometimes your composure is tested or other times it can be your determination on certain things. Throughout it all you have to keep in mind that you can mess up someone’s day with one click. It can be a sales rep, co-worker, someone from another department, or a customer. Sooooo I guess you can throw in pressure as a norm for us in Customer Service.

What has been your favorite part about working at Regency360? My favorite part about working with Regency would have to be my co-workers. We all go through similar struggles and may share the same frustrations. In a way, we operate kind of like a family. We look out for each other and sometimes may have urges to rip each other’s heads off. But that’s what I mean by family. I personally would rather work with someone who wants to rip my head off than someone who doesn’t. Lol hear me out on this. That urge to rip my head off comes from frustration with something I’m doing, right? They wouldn’t be frustrated if they weren’t paying attention to what I’m doing. So why are they paying attention? Well it isn’t because they’re stalkers, it’s because they care.

What is something unique or memorable about your experience with Regency360? I’d say the most memorable thing I’ve experienced here was someone walking into a wall. Yep, here at Regency we go the distance to get things done. Lol I’m kidding. The most unique thing to me was how willing everyone was to train me. In most places, you don’t find an entire team of people willing to teach you things on the spot. These guys worked with me but allowed me to make it my own so I can bring myself up to speed.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work? Netflix. Next question.

What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you? The fact that I’ve never seen Forest Gump seems to be catching a lot of people here by surprise.

Do you have an office nickname? No office nickname for me. Although, a phrase that’s associated with me is usually “you’re just a baby”. This phrase is used mostly when myself and my co-workers are reminded of the generation gap between us.
